The purpose of the “Pension Talk” category is to provide a place for the general membership to talk about anything concerning the Police Pension fund.

Like myself, many of you have been following the news concerning the City of Little Rock Police Pension Board.  Such matters have been brought to the forefront by the hard economic times we all find ourselves in.  Due to the proper management of our pension board, the damage to our fund from the economy has been less severe that other such funds; however, damage has been done nonetheless.  As a result of this, the pension board is examining several matters of concern to all its members.  [Read more...]
