Police Pension Member Chat is a new feature of this website. I used a free “chat” script to implement this feature so I am not terribly certain of its reliability; however, it looks pretty reliable.
To use it just click on the “Link” indicated below.
The below Login page will open. Then just type in your username (it can be anything without spaces) and click the Login button.
The below Room List page will open. Just click on the Room you want to enter. The little symbol beside the name of the room indicates that Room is protected by a Password.
The below “Password Required” page will open, if required by the “Room List” page. Just enter the password you were emailed in the password blank and click the Login button to enter that Room.
The below “Chat” page will open. Here is where you will chat with other Police Pension members. You will probably notice your “username” appear in the pale blue sidebar and the red “(your username) has entered the room in the large white box. See below for what you do then.
There are really just three things you need to know to “Chat” despite the complicated looking image above:
- Type whatever you want to say in the smaller white box, and;
- Click the “Send” button. Your chat text will appear after a blue introduction of your username.
- Click the “Logout” button when you are through chatting.
After you click the Logout button you will see the below page. Just click on another link to browse the rest of the site.
That’s it. Really simple.
